Located inside Marietta’s New Theatre in the Square, the Communitea lounge is a free safe artist workspace designed for artists of all kinds to get their daily work completed in a semi-quiet homelike cafe setting. It might not be a studio, but it isn’t your bedroom either. Providing all of the comfort and intimacy of home, with none of the… anything else! Communitea Lounge is a safe space crafted with CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of yourself as well as those around you. The hardest part of the new normal that we’ve found ourselves in, is that it has been everything but. Communitea Lounge was created to help us take back just a bit of our normal, and rejoin the arts communitea in a capacity that preserves our health and well being, just as much as it does our passion.
